Blackboard Orientation

My Grades

You have two ways of viewing your grades.

View all of your grades:

  • On the left-side of the screen you can click on "Grades"
  • This will show you your grades from each class in Blackboard
  • Click on any grade to be brought into that course

Grades tab located on the left hand side of the screen

From inside each course:

  • On the left-side of the screen you can click on "My Grades"
  • This will show you the grade for each assignment or exam in that course
  • You can click on any submitted or graded assignment to see a copy of what you submitted

mygrades is the last option on the left

Using either option will let you see how you're doing in a course.  If you see any small icons next to an assignment:

  • yellow exclamation mark yellow exclamation mark - this means you've submitted the assignment but it is not yet graded
  • blue chat bubble blue chat bubble - this means your instructor has left a comment about your grade
