Discussion Board

Discussion boards are a way for you to interact with your instructor and fellow students online.  Your instructor will create a "Forum" for you to read, then you create your own "Thread" to express your thoughts or answers to the "Forum".

To post to a Discussion Board:

  • Read the "Description"

description is located in the middle of the screen

  • Click on the "Forum" name

forum name is located in the upper left

  • Click on "Create Thread" to start a your own post, or click on someone else's post and hit "Reply' to respond to their post

  • Type out your post or reply

board options

  • If you need to add a picture or document
    • click on the paperclip or the image icon to upload a picture or document from your computer
  • Click on "Save as draft" to save what you've typed but need to come back later to finish it
  • Click on "Submit" to save it the "Forum" for the class to read
